Peter Clinton, CEO Cricket Wellington

It is a real pleasure to work with Exodus. They always provide high standards of professional approach, friendly communication and positive attitude. “Loyalty Card” program is beneficial for me as a business owner as it is based on fair trade which provides me with direct marketing for new clients. I also enjoy it as a gym member since it gives me great discounts on wide variety of products and services.

Leo Panko, SATTVA Healing Ltd.

Working together as a team is essential to success – The Exodus Wellington Saints live by this mantra and it is clear the team at Exodus Health and Fitness Club do too. Our two teams work together on every level. The Exodus Health and Fitness Club team are with us courtside at every home game and they work alongside our players, coaches and team management everyday. It is a privileged position we are in to work with such a passionate group of people

Trudy Godwin, Former General Manager, Wellington Saints Basket Ball

The equipment and facilities are excellent and well maintained. All the staff are professional, helpful and friendly. They appear genuinely interested in me and not just my membership fee. Exodus helps make the pain in working out almost enjoyable!

Jonathan Levy, Member

The staff are really friendly, even when it’s 6.15am on a cold dark morning, and are always ready to help you with any of those random questions you may have

Ariana Odermatt, Member

Since joining Exodus I actually look forward to my workouts. All the equipment and facilities are excellent and the FitLinxx programme is great, it’s good to be able to track your progress. All staff members have always been very courteous, friendly and professional and are readily accessible, and the loyalty card programme is an added bonus.

Stephen Gee, Member

As a fitness enthusiast, Radical Group Fitness classes at Exodus Health and Fitness Club have become an integral part of my conditioning program, enhancing my muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular endurance, co-ordination and balance. The instructor’s resemble having a personal trainer to keep improving one’s core strengths whilst making you feel excited to be there. The variations on moves and adaptable fitness regimens ensure no boredom or plateau; and it’s for these reasons Group Fitness has become my addiction.

Jeffrey Hall, Member

I joined Exodus about 10 months ago after a serious case of pneumonia. The specialist i was seeing said if i could join a gym and begin some cardio work, it would be a great way to help with my recovery. I have been going two or three times a week and it has made a huge difference in my well being. The team are very helpful and professional, the group fitness classes are hard but enjoyable.

Mike Swift, Member

It has been a pleasure to be involved with Exodus, both as a coach of the Saints and as a member of the Tall Blacks squad. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and the equipment is second to none. I have made use of the spin classes, Pilates and the great selection of weights and cardio machines. The Fitlinxx system is an excellent tool to monitor my workouts and track my results. Add the great atmosphere and work out environment, and I can attest that Exodus is a high performance facility which is a cut above the rest.

Amanda Sommerville

Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor Amanda Sommerville's profile photo

Amanda has come to us from across the ditch (don’t hold it against her too much!) and is a Comprehensive Pilates Instructor, trained through Tania Huddart (PMA) at Hearts and Bones Pilates. Amanda graduated from the New Zealand School of Dance, being awarded a National Diploma in Dance performance as well as achieving her Certificate IV in Performing Arts. During this time she danced with the Royal New Zealand Ballet Company, National tour season of Swan Lake and the Mozart Music Festival NZSD. Pilates played an influential role in her rehabilitation after having overcome a major hip bone injury. This in turn has given her a strong relationship to Pilates and dance.

Throughout her own life experience Amanda has developed a great awareness for injury prevention and rehabilitation and is excited about sharing her knowledge in a caring and charismatic way. Amanda is also currently the head Pilates teacher for the New Zealand School of Dance Scholars Programme.

Sauna & Steam Room

Sauna & Steam Room

Everyone needs to slow down at some stage. Why not try the sauna or steam room? So they’re a couple of warm rooms. Sure, you’ve heard they’re good for you. But what’s the point?

As soon as you step into our steam room or sauna, the warmth will open the pores of your skin removing toxins, creating a flow of perspiration lifting out the grime of everyday life. Your skin is cleansed and toned leaving it feeling soft, supple and healthy. You emerge rested and rejuvenated, ready to take on the world and all it can throw at you.

To cool off further, watch TV or read from a selection of magazines in the Sauna and Steam Room lounge/wet area.

This is your cocoon; a moment away from the stress and rush of your hectic lifestyle. That’s got to be a good thing right?
