Pilates is a full body work out that will build strength and lean muscle, co-ordination and endurance, while leaving you energised and wanting more. Whether you are a senior just starting to exercise, an elite athlete, or somewhere in between, these sessions will help you!
Cross Pilates offers both individual and buddy Pilates sessions, for all skill levels! Each session varies, with a combination of mat work and our tailor made Reformer and Cadillac (not the car). Amanda’s approach is ideal for developing a strong, balanced, lean body without the injuries, setbacks, and inconsistencies that can result from unsupervised workouts.

The physiotherapy process involves 4 easy steps: assessment, diagnosis, planning, and intervention rehabilitation. Our therapists will use their expertise and wide-ranging treatment options to promote a swift and comprehensive return to good health.
Our highly trained team is on hand to help you deal with the following issues:
Maybe you were running too fast. Maybe your body just can’t keep up with what your mind tells you. Either way, at Cross Physio & Pilates, we understand the frustration and setback that injuries create.
That’s why we have our very own team of professionals on hand to help get you back on your feet and on the field as quickly as possible. Meet Cross Physiotherapy and Pilates. The team at Cross Physiotherapy & Pilates promote health, injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation in central Wellington.
Their first job is to relieve your pain and get you back on your feet as quickly as possible. Then you can work together to improve your mobility and functional strength, to prevent the injury from returning. That way, you spend less time on a treatment table, and more time out there enjoying life! Our clinical expertise and multi-faceted treatment options result in a world class rehabilitation service, and our approach makes us trusted by Olympic athletes, Steven Adams, professional sports teams and national sporting bodies. Cross Physio recently became the only Physiotherapy clinic in NZ ratified by an NBA franchise.
The clinic is ACC accredited, and each physiotherapist is registered with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand. With world class programmes, an excellent relationship with the wider sports medicine community, and highly qualified practitioners, you can count on the best services.

Don’t worry about the babysitter, bring your little training buddy in with you! Enjoy a couple of hours to work on yourself while we entertain your little ones in our Little Feet child minding service. We cater for children aged 6 months up to 6 years.
This service is run Monday – Thursday between 9am and 11am in the Mind and Body Studio upstairs.
Donations of $2 per child help provide toys for an exciting environment your little ones can get lost in while you find your peak fitness again.
As we are running Little Feet on a donation basis, we do require that guardians ensure that each child has the following items for each session:
Named bag
Healthy snack and drink (preferably water)
Infant bottle and or/cup
A spare set of clothing
Disposable Nappies and Wet Wipes
To take advantage of this service, you will need to provide a copy of your child’s Immunisation certificate and fill in a registration form at reception.
One of those little details you were worrying about? We have it sorted. Exodus offers 90 minutes of free car parking to members. More than enough time to get in, test your limits and set that record straight. We’ll sweat the small things so you can concentrate on bigger things.
Everyone needs to slow down at some stage. Why not try the sauna or steam room? So they’re a couple of warm rooms. Sure, you’ve heard they’re good for you. But what’s the point?
As soon as you step into our steam room or sauna, the warmth will open the pores of your skin removing toxins, creating a flow of perspiration lifting out the grime of everyday life. Your skin is cleansed and toned leaving it feeling soft, supple and healthy. You emerge rested and rejuvenated, ready to take on the world and all it can throw at you.
To cool off further, watch TV or read from a selection of magazines in the Sauna and Steam Room lounge/wet area.
This is your cocoon; a moment away from the stress and rush of your hectic lifestyle. That’s got to be a good thing right?
Our experience isn’t about a few pieces of machinery inside a building. This is a carefully tailored environment to help you ‘set the record straight’ and mould the new you.
It’s not about having over 66 pieces of cardio equipment. Race to the bike or treadmill on our first floor instead of the sofa and be rewarded with your own personal SKY channels to choose from. It’s not about over 100 free weights, machines and training equipment in a dedicated floor upstairs. It’s not even just about being able to enjoy yourself. Rest, relax and indulge after a workout in our sauna or steam room. Unwind.
It is about you. Whatever your reason, it’s a good one. Care to try us and experience the difference?
We don’t just sit on the sidelines, we get involved. Occasionally you might see some of Wellington’s elite sporting teams in the club (don’t freak out, they need to train too!)
Whether it be Steven Adams, Irene van Dyk or Paul Ifill – greatness has to start somewhere. We enjoy being a part of the training process which helps athletes like these stay in peak condition; and give the youth of New Zealand a standard to strive for.
